Many servicers function as a business entity even if they are only one person, as mentioned on the home page, it is common to 1099 a DBA, S-Corp, or LLC for over 60 million workers in the USA. This allows them to own their own equipment, pay for their own benefits, and manage their own savings account.
While it may seem expensive to hire a servicer, it is often comparable or more cost effective to having employees do the same task. Home users are already familiar with servicers for fixing things at home. People don't often start a construction company to fix electrical outages or do home repairs and improvements.
The first step in establishing an agreement with a servicer is checking their website for available services and pricing. Many websites won't have price available, they are obligated to charge different people the same cost for the same service. This can be audited from time to time and privacy laws prevent pricing based on income or revenues. Service pricing is set on standard rates that are acceptable in the market and this is further modified by performance levels and expectations of quality. Pricing will be fairly similar across servicers providing the same services in a marketplace.
The second step is coming to an agreement on scope of services and final verification expectations. Meaning the expected quality of the finished product or service upon payment. Once these expectations have been agreed to, the services can be delivered or the product made, installed, delivered, or repaired.
Our Policies PSI will provide a quote with a line item for each service included in the quote, the line items are not very detailed resembling more of a receipt than a requisition order. However, the line item title is descriptive and has implied expectations in each of the services. Out of Scope Services, meaning services not included in the quote but desired as part of the services are often billed hourly at a professional rate or provided with agreement to an additional quote.Estimates are non binding and good for up to 1 year, they require a quote to complete an agreement and quotes are good for up to 30 days.
Our Services Most of our services are billed by the project of by the entire task list necessary to complete a job, our task list may not be detailed as a customer or client task list because we focus on goals and end results, but do not overlook required details necessary to meet or professional liability requirements or any implied expectations in a business or service agreement. This means some tasks may be consolidated into 1 line item on a quote. Avg. prices range from $250 to $500 per quote and have no obligation of continued service. There might be other agreements attached to content or computer code or system configurations. For the most part, they are not for resale at these prices as that requires a separate agreement. Hourly costs for out of scope services are from $75 to $150 hours and have a 2 hour minimum costs, they are available for attachment to an existing quote only.
Specific services available for request and estimate or quote include content services, technology services such as website, social media, or computer configuration services, and business administration or management services such as compliance, analysis and review, and policy editing or drafting. Many IT services now fall under business administration or management and most media services have been digitized, our services focus on technology integrated business management.
